Knit Neon Zig-Zag Slouchy Hat

I used the All-Day Beret pattern available for free on the Stitch Nation yarn website. For the yarn I used Loops and Threads Impeccable worsted weight yarn in this fabulous neon orange-ish pink. I absolutely love this hat.

I altered the zig-zag pattern a little bit so the hat wouldn't be too slouchy. I knitted the first Left Diagonal Stitch Pattern until the hat measured 3” from the beginning instead of 4”. I knitted the Right Diagonal Stitch Pattern until the hat measured 5.5” from the beginning. I knitted the second Left Diagonal Stitch Pattern until the hat was 7.5” long.

Neon Green/Yellow Bandeau

I decided I needed a bandeau to go with a lime green lace shirt my mom bought for me at Target. I used some fabric I had left over from my neon green/yellow dress. I double layered the fabric so it wouldn't be see-through and used 1/2" elastic around the top and bottom of the bandeau. This is the link to a tutorial on how to sew a bandeau. I didn't really follow it; I sort of just did my own thing.

Knitted Textured Circle Shrug

For this shrug I used the Textured Circle Shrug pattern on the Lion Brand website. I used Caron Simply Soft worsted weight yarn.

I enjoyed this pattern. It wasn’t too complex or too boring. It was also a pretty quick knit. I made the small.

I wear this shrug all the time.  It is perfect for cooler days and it seems to go with everything.
