Simplicity 2258

I sewed Simplicity #2258 View C using a Stonehill Collection cotton quilting fabric.

Size: 10

Did it Look Like the Pattern Photo: Yes.

Were the Instructions Easy to Follow: Very much so.

Likes or Dislikes: I LOVE that there is no zipper. That makes it so much easier. I also like that you can use cotton. Cotton is wicked easy to work with, but it's hard to find a pattern that doesn't need a stretch knit or a fabric that is less stiff and more silky.

Sew it Again/Recommend to Others: Yes! I made the shorts twice! It's a perfect first pattern and it's a 2-hour project for a sewer with a little bit of experience.

  1. Oooh, gorgeous! I've never seen that Simplicity pattern before...I wonder if it's a US-only one?
