Crocheted Tams/Matching Scarf

I used the free Tam pattern on the Lion Brand website to make myself a sparkly white tam out of Red Heart Shimmer worsted weight yarn and my friend a teal tam out of Red Heart Soft worsted weight yarn. I love this pattern, except I find crocheting the ridge on the bottom to be very tedious.

I made myself a sparkly white scarf out of the Red Heart Shimmer yarn to match my tam. I used the free Lacy Bobble Scarf pattern on the Red Heart website.

  1. This is so cute! I may even take up crocheting now. Would you call the hat a beginner friendly pattern?

    1. Thank you so much! I made those hats a loooong time ago, but I don't remember them being difficult. If I had to pick the easiest beginner pattern ever it would be the Easy Wear Scarf on the Lion Brand website (http://www.lionbrand.com/patterns/L10381.html).
